Before going there, I told Gabby and Sunday that Pangasinan is a province and people there live simply. I also told them beforehand that the town we would be staying at doesn’t have big malls and other entertainment venues which they really love to go to almost every weekend. People there eat fresh foods so they are healthier and stronger, not like urban dwellers who can eat fastfood in a flick of a finger (exagge!) or a dial on the phone. They don’t have access to internet and computers can only be found in town proper or province capital.
I was so happy they got the idea and didn’t ask for I-don’t-know-where-to-get things while we were there. :)
We indeed enjoyed our short-lived vacation there. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the kids were able to discover and see some things they didn’t know before.

There you go. I'm back to reality. Back to the city and back to busy-ness!

masarap talaga sa probinsya lalo na kung minsan ka lang makakapunta doon, mahirap lang doon ka tumira dahil nasanay ka na nga sa kabihasnan..sarap ng sugpo or hipon, kung anuman sya basta masarap syang kainin...

I'm jealous about that treehouse. I've always wanted one and even looked for the "treehouse" hotels in the States and abroad just to stay in one. They were unbelievably expensive. I think your kids should know just how lucky they are!!!
Rural living is indeed so simple and peaceful and what's best, no pollution. You can enjoy a daily bonding with nature. I'm sure the kids enjoyed the vacation and learned many things about the way of living in a place where living couldn't be that hard as compared in the city.
I love living in the province, very simple life. konting gastos lang. But since dami kong relatives, hehehe..sa Manila na lang ako, la masyado kilala, tipid ng konti..
ganyan na ganyan pa din where mama lives beth... miss ko nga rin eh, kasi mas masarap yung luto sa apoy ng kahoy hhehehe..
the seafood looks really yummy and playing in the treehouse seems like an interesting experience ;-)
